This week we will report on "Surface Cracks" using EDDY CURRENT.

EDDY CURRENT is a method to inspect surface defects by applying a concentric current to the workpiece.

When the coil is brought close to the workpiece, eddy currents are generated by the reaction of the magnetic field,
This allows even minute scratches and cracks to be detected.

Conventionally, surface crack detection was difficult to perform 100%
since you have to do Magnetic testing and penetration testing.

On the other hand, Eddy Current is non-contact and non-destructive,
and it is the greatest feature that can inspect 100% at high speed.
